The Stout Game Expo (SGX) is a hallmark event at the University of Wisconsin-Stout, serving as the largest game developer exhibition in Western Wisconsin. Held biannually in the Memorial Student Center Great Hall, this "Signature Event" showcases the creative and technical achievements of students from the university’s nationally-ranked Game Design and Development programs.

The expo provides a public platform for students—ranging from first-year undergraduates to M.F.A. candidates—to debut original projects that include everything from cozy tabletop board games to intense 3D racing simulators and immersive virtual reality experiences.
